Preemie Lace Bootie

I did it! Check out the preemie sized (on right) lace bootie to match the Lace Baby Beenie. I used the same 4-ply worsted weight yarn and size 5 dpns as the 3-6 month size (on left). The bottom edges look a little rough because I haven't seamed them up yet. For anyone interested, I'm happy to share the pattern for both.

Lace Baby Booties

Size: preemie/3-6 months
Yarn: 4-ply worsted weight
Needles: 5 dpn

Sole:
CO 19/27 sts and work as folls:
Row 1 & Alt Rows: knit
Row 2: *k1, inc, k6/10, inc* twice, k1.
Row 4: *k1, inc, k8/12, inc* twice, k1.
Row 6: *k1, inc, k10/14, inc* twice, k1.
Row 8: *k1, inc, k12/16, inc* twice, k1. (35/43 sts)
Row 10: (3-6 mo. size only) *k1, inc, k18, inc* twice, k1. (47 sts)

Upper:
(Preemie Size) Rows 9-14: knit
(3-6 mo. Size) Rows 11-19: knit

Shape top of Foot:
Row 1: k21/28, s1, k1, psso, turn.
Row 2: s1, p7/9, p2tog, turn.
Row 3: s1, k7/9, s1, k1, psso, turn.
Rows 4-11(4-13): as row 2 & 3 four (five) times
Next Row: s1, p7/9, p2tog, turn.
Next Row: s1, k15/21.
Next Row: purl across all sts.
Next Row: knit. (preemie size only: inc 2 sts evenly) [25/33 sts]
Next Row: purl.
Eyelet Row: *k1, yo, k2tog* to end. (preemie size only: end with k1)
Next Row: purl.

Lace Cuff:
Row 1: k1, *yo, k2, s1, k2tog, psso, k2, yo, k1* to end.
Row 2: purl.
Row 3: k2, *yo, k1, s1, k2tog, psso, k1, yo, k3* to last 7 sts: yo, k1, s1, k2tog, psso, k1, yo, k2.
Row 4: purl.
Row 5: k3, *yo, s1, k2tog, psso, yo, k5* to last 6 sts: yo, s1, k2tog, psso, yo, k3.
Row 6: purl. (3-6 mo. size only: repeat rows 1-6 one more time.)
Row 7: make ribbing, *k2, p2* across, end with p2tog.
Rows 8-9: *k2, p2* across.

Bind off loosely, leaving a tail to join leg and underfoot seam. Thread ribbon through eyelets.
