Heels are Done, Just Toes....

The heels are done. I worked them separately, then put both back onto the circular afterwards. I decided to make the cuffs 5 inches long, and now I am working on the foot. I had to frog my first attempt at the heels because they looked HUGE. I followed the instructions on the number of rows to work before turning the heels........68/2=34; 34/2=17 repeats of row 1 (sl 1, knit to end) and row 2 (sl 1, purl to end). That would be 34 rows before turning the heel, correct? Well, the heel was too large, so I frogged it back to a total of 24 rows, then I turned the heel. Somebody please advise me as to if I comprehended the instructions correctly.

Well, Vince Young did not win the Heisman trophy, but he is still #1 in my book. The competition was tough, and I hope next year will be Vince's year. I can't wait to watch the championship game between UT and USC on Jan. 4th!!!
