Great Stuff!

I stopped by Hill Country Weavers, my lys, and saw a beautiful scarf on display. It was made of a yarn by "Fusion"; a mohair, acrlyic, wool blend. With size 15 knitting needles, one ball makes a nice long scarf. These pieces of the 100% Silk Rippins were cut and tied (I think in a bow) in between a few of the stitches throughout the scarf. It was great looking. WARNING: the Silk Rippins were not cheap!! I can't wait to knit one up; I think I'll just knit it in stockinette stitch. Knitting with fabric is in - - and knitting with silk fabric is awesome!

How long do you estimate it will take to make one of these scarves?

Using a large size 15 to 17 needle, probably a couple of hours. A great weekend project.
