Is it a Scarf?

Things are not what they seem! This is not a garter stitch scarf, although it looks like one. No, it is actually a hat! This is the new Anny Blatt kit that includes enough yarn to make a scarf and hat. This hat is knitted sideways. After working 21 inches in garter stitch, you bind off and then pick up stitches on the long side and begin a decrease pattern to form the crown. All is left is to sew a seam and the hat is completed.
